Now, here is something about "the Bishop": He was charged in 1993 with rape
of a child, and got off with a light sentence after plea bargaining.
Nevertheless, the circumstances described by the prosecution, based on
deposition of the child, are truly sickening.
Here is the text of the warrant used in his arrest after he had fled from

said defendant who has fled from justice from

This is from an affidavit filed July 26, 1993 by Detective R. L. Dodge of the Anacortes Police Department, entitled "AFFIDAVIT OF PROBABLE CAUSE", pursuant to STATE OF WASHINGTON VS. PRESTON B. CAREY:
These are excerpts.
"R. L. Dodge, a member of the Anacortes Police Department, being duly sworn on Oath deposes and says: That on May 6th 1993, CeCe Davis, and employee of Skagit Mental Health contacted the Anacortes Police Department and reported she was bring [sic] in a nine year old boy who was raped approximately two years ago and is now disclosing the suspects name.
Officer Ken Clark, a member of the Anacortes Police Department met with Ms. Thomas, and [name of child], [address of child]. Officer Clark met privately with [child] in the office. Officer Clarke found the child to be extremely bright and somewhat embarrassed to talk about the incident. Officer Clark interviewed [child] and found he knew the difference between telling the truth and lying, bad touch and good touch. During the interview officer Clark got the following facts from [child]:
[child] stated that he would stay in an apartment in Anacortes at a babysitters. The babysitters name was Susan Carey (ex-wife of the defendant). [child] went on to say that while he was being baby sat, Brad Carey approached him and asked him to dress up as a girl. Once [child] did what Brad wanted, Brad started fondling his "front privates". [child] went on to say that Brad would touch his penis with his hands and mouth. [child] stated that on two occasions Brad commanded him to touch his (Brad's) penis. [child] stated that Brad would always show him pictures of himself dressed up as a woman. [child] was asked how many times Brad touched him. [child] replied [illegible 3 or four words]. Brad placed a sock in [child's] mouth and put his penis in his Butt. [child] stated that it hurt very bad. [child] stated he later saw blood on his underwear and it hurt for a long time to go to the bathroom. [child] stated that after that incident he told his Aunt about it and the abuse stopped."

The problem is that her phony "doctorate" was given to her by Carey, who also regaled himself with a few of them. His shell "institutions" and such are just his creations on flakey websites done with an old, outdated version Microsoft FrontPage and not much more. It was in the name of one of these fantasy institutions that Betty's "Honorary Doctor of Humanities" was bequeathed. Due to the chiding she gets from people over that nonsense, she puts something like "PhD.Hum.Hon." at the end of her name when she uses the "Dr" at the beginning. However, when she wants to submit a post to some forum wherein those of real doctors are preferred, she conveniently drops the alphabet soup part.
Real doctors (actual MD's) are among those who are teasing Betty over both her phony doctorate and her connection with Carey, and her response was (get this) that these charges against Carey are all a big lie concocted by people who were jealous of her because they didn't get an honorary doctorate the way she did! I swear! Just go to Google, click on the "groups" link at the top of the page, type in "Betty Martini", and read it for yourself.
I am an aspartame victim myself, and so are a lot of other people I know, and I would like to see aspartame taken off of the market and the companies who were resposible for putting it there sued for everything they ever owned and then some. That is part of the reason that I think that Martini would do well to just duck out of sight at this point before she does any more damage to the movement she claims to lead. And as for Carey, since he is a Bible thumper, supposedly, I think that they with him what Jesus Christ himself recommended for his kind - tie a millstone around his neck and chunk him into the sea!
